Lawntech’s comments about this lawn

Thank you, Mrs S, for coming on board with Lawntech, we are really happy that your lawn is looking so good after only one full season of treatments.

We often get asked from potential customers how long it will take before they see improvements with their lawn once we have started our annual lawn care programme?  The answer to this is that it will vary from lawn to lawn, and the time of the year that we start your programme.  In most cases you will see a big difference after a few months once weeds and moss have been treated, but it might take several treatments to get the lawn to where we are both happy.  Weather also plays a part in how quickly we can make improvements, especially if conditions are very dry and we must hold back on carrying out applications for a while.  Lawns in West Moors and Ferndown often tend to be grown on the naturally occurring sandy soil which can dry out very quickly if there is no rain, so it is very important to keep a close eye on soil moisture levels as we go into spring and summer. Dry lawns often take several months to recover if they have become brown and dormant, so if watering has not been carried out, it is just a matter of being patient whilst the lawn recovers.  Sometimes it is necessary to carry our renovations of scarifying, aeration, and over-seeding to help lawns fully recover.  In this case Mrs S has been doing a fantastic job of keeping the lawn lush and green so that our treatments have worked perfectly.
