As many of you already know, we have been observing strict guidelines which have allowed us to continue in treating our clients’ lawns despite the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Ensuring our technicians operate within safe ‘social distances’ and enabling home working where possible have proved to very effective precautionary measures, and we feel that we have done everything we can to operate safely within the Government’s guidelines.
Regrettably however, in the light of the Prime Minister’s “Stay at Home” announcement on Monday 23rd March, we feel we should suspend all our services whilst we review guidelines from the government. We will still be able to offer you a quotation for lawn care services using our online measurement tool during this time. As a family business with strong ties to the community, we take our responsibilities very seriously, and these go far beyond our duty of care to our staff and clients. We feel strongly that however tough this decision has been to make, it is the right thing to do for the greater good.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to those of you who had treatments booked between now and 10th April, but please be assured that my staff and I will be making every effort to ensure the work is carried out for you at the earliest opportunity once operations are resumed.
If you are currently paying for your lawn care by Monthly Recurring Card Billing, I would ask you to leave your instruction in place and continue payments as before. By doing this, your account will stay up to date until we are able to resume treating your lawns and there will be no additional delay to your service.
I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you personally for your continued support. Running a small business and employing around 20 members of staff will always bring its challenges. The situation which our country currently faces, and which has effectively forced the closure of our company for at least 3 weeks and its busiest time of the year, is undoubtedly the sternest challenge Lawntech has ever encountered. However, with the continued support of our loyal clients, my staff and I are determined to push through and get back to the business of taking care of your lawns as soon as possible.
