Updated 23rd October 2020

We recognise how important it is to protect our customers, ourselves and the NHS and we will be carrying out services in strict accordance with Government social distancing guidelines.

All of our technicians are lone workers (one man per van) and our office staff are currently either working from home or are socailly distanced in our offices, therefore we are able to comply with Government guidance.

We are highly conscious of the need to have zero contact with our clients and the public as Lawntech’s technicians move around the areas they cover, whilst maintaining a high standard of customer care. To that end, our technicians are now working to a set of guidelines designed to eliminate contact with others, as follows:

A rainbow on the horizon

A rainbow on the horizon. Brighter times on the way, we hope.

On arrival:

We will always notify you prior to arrival by email so you are aware that we are coming. To minimise contact and to help prevent the spread of the virus.  Please ensure objects such as garden furniture are moved from the lawn, then like many other services eg. window cleaner, gardener, we will get straight to work whilst wearing appropriate PPE.

During our visit:

While we are on the property working it is imperative that you stay at least 2 metres away from our technicians. If you need to speak to the technician, ask questions etc this should be done from a safe distance.   We will be unable to come into your home.

On completing the treatment:

If we notice anything abnormal with your lawn or have any concerns, it will be noted on your after service email or we make a telephone call, with additional information if necessary.  We will do this rather than discuss issues on the doorstep.

Invoicing:

We will not put an invoice or any paperwork through your letterbox. You invoice can be found on your after service email.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation and much valued business

Best regards, Your Lawntech team

Q: STAYING IN TOUCH, How will you keep me informed?

A: Please continue to call or email us with any queries you may have. We shall continue to keep our clients informed with scheduled emails or telephone calls in advance of treatment visits, and immediately after them. As outlined above, we have a Continuity Plan in place. Should it become necessary, this plan will enable our office team to work remotely from home and keep all lines of communication open.

This will include both telephone and email. We will also be posting updates on our website blog: https://www.lawn-tech.co.uk/blog/, and our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/LawntechLtd

Q: WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN YOU COME TO TREAT MY LAWN?

A: For the foreseeable future, our technicians will refrain from customer contact.  If they need to attract your attention for any reason, they will give you a call on their mobile ‘phones. We will continue to send our After Service Report emails, but the technicians will not be leaving paper copies or invoices for the time being.

Q: IF YOU ARE NOT LEAVING PAPER INVOICES, HOW CAN I PAY YOU?

A: We would ask you not to give your technician any payments in cash or cheque while these conditions prevail, but all our other payment methods are still available; Bank Transfer (BACS), via your own account on our Customer Assistant Website, or by telephone to the office with a Debit or Credit Card. Please call us in the office for more details.  A link to your invoice is always on your after service email.

Q: WHAT ABOUT ‘SELF-ISOLATION’ AND ‘SOCIAL DISTANCING’?

A: We will keep a 2 metre distance from everyone we encounter – clients or otherwise. We have been relieved to hear from many of our clients who have called to identify themselves as being ‘At Risk’. They have been self-isolating, and we have been pleased to play our part by ensuring our technicians avoid all contact with them as detailed above.

Q: IF I’M NOT YET A CLIENT OF LAWNTECH’S, HOW DO I GET A QUOTE?

A: In the light of all the above, we can still offer an instant, free, comprehensive quotation for your lawn care via the easy to use tool on our website. We can also visit your lawn but we will need to abide distancing regulation.   Once you have measured your lawn and are happy with your quote, we will make arrangements for your first treatment or visit. Please follow this link: https://www.lawn-tech.co.uk/get-a-quote/
