Christmas is upon us, and another year draws to a close, so we would like to bring you this final blog of 2022 to reflect on some of the highlights here at Lawntech over the last 12 months, as we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Lawntech fundraising for Hopes and Homes for Children
The war in Ukraine was a devastating start to 2022 and the unfolding events touched the hearts of many including all our staff here at Lawntech. So, when Hope and Homes for Children Ukraine Appeal was brought to our attention by our existing customers, we were inspired by the work the organisation is doing to help children and families affected by the devastating events in Ukraine.
We made it our mission, with the hard work and help of our colleagues and customers, to support this charity in their fundraising appeal.
With the generosity of our customers, old and new, we managed to raise a total of £4,905.00 for Hope and Homes for Children Ukraine Appeal and for that we are truly grateful to everyone who donated and supported Lawntech in our fundraising efforts, so a very huge thank you!
Hope and Homes for Children continue to work tirelessly to support families at risk of being torn apart and children being placed in orphanages. These cold winter temperatures and rising costs in food and energy supplies, have sparked Hope and Homes for Children to launch their Winter Crisis Appeal to help keep families together this Christmas.

- £15 could provide educational and play materials for a pre-school aged child visiting a mobile support centre.
- £25 could provide a hygiene kit, including soap, shampoo, and sanitary pads for one family for one month.
- £32 could provide four emergency food packs, for a family, whilst we help them find their feet and stay together.
- £50 could provide art or music therapy and counselling support for a pre-school child to help them recover from trauma.

Renovation recovery is well underway for winter
Following the lawn renovations that we carried out this autumn, our technicians have been busy checking the progress of our customer’s lawns during their autumn treatment visits. We are pleased to see so many lawns recovering well, looking green, healthy, and strong as we head into winter.
We are already taking bookings for spring renovations, and we think demand will be high following the unusual drought conditions we had this summer.

The best news is, we’ve frozen our lawn renovation prices for 2023 so if your lawn has failed to bounce back from the tough conditions this summer, we can carry out remedial work in spring without any price increase. We saw our team of qualified technicians expand as we proudly welcomed Rob and Steve to Lawntech. They come with a wealth of experience and have settled into their roles here at Lawntech superbly.
