Playing Croquet on your lawn at home can be a lot of fun, perfect for the family or when friends visit on those social occasions. All you need for a fun domestic game of Croquet are six hoops, four balls, two mallets and a reasonably smooth lawn. Croquet is also a serious sport played at clubs and venues across the UK which requires skill, strategy, and tactics, on a precisely flat, finely mown playing surface, similar to that of a bowling green.
Croquet clubs and venues often have a wonderful team of members who carry out the daily maintenance tasks such as dew switching, mowing, irrigation and daily manicuring of the green, but sometimes struggle to have the time or resources to do the specialist treatments.
