We are delighted to announce that Lawntech has successfully earned accreditation under the BASIS Lawn Assured scheme.

Focusing on the safe use, storage and transportation of herbicides and pesticides, the Lawn Assured standard helps to ensure a consistent and high standard of practice in the professional lawn care industry. BASIS Auditing and Compliance Manager Lindsay Smith Boam explained that all individuals applying pesticides must work sustainably and efficiently, in order to protect themselves, the general public and the environment. “The new standard has been launched in response to industry demand and aims to help lawn care contractors demonstrate that they’re operating in a responsible manner to both the public and the regulatory authorities,” she says. “The benchmarking standard also removes any variability across the industry, ensuring a consistent level of performance”.
Lawntech Founder and Managing Director Jim Hewlett added; “We have been delighted to work with the UK lawn Care Association and BASIS to ensure the ‘Lawn Assured’ marque sets a high standard for our industry. Our clients will be reassured to know that when Lawntech call to service their lawn, it will be performed in a safe and regulated manner.”
