Frost, Snow & Waterlogging

Frost covering lawn next to river

We are lucky to live in a country which has four distinct seasons, but when winter weather becomes extreme, we need to take special care of our lawns. When winter arrives the days are shorter, the sun is low for four or five months of the year and our lawns will become more stressed. During those dark months, when we are more than likely thinking of other things rather than our lawns, extremes in weather arrive such as frost, snow and prolonged wet weather. All these elements can be detrimental, so we have created a guide to help you do the right thing for your lawn when conditions get tough.
