Mr L has been with Lawntech for just a year and the lawn has progressed well in that time with a combination of fertiliser, weed and moss treatments.
The lawn was part turfed and part seeded when it was newly built a few years ago, the top half had poor soil and was quite yellow when we initially started treatments but a year of our semi-organic feeds have helped to build the soil health, holding more nutrients and creating a lush and dense sward. There were also a lot of weeds, these often blow in from surrounding fields and have now been eradicated with our weed treatment. We spot treat on all visits to keep on top of the weeds, exposed gardens will always be more prone to weeds and weed grasses. Regular renovations will help to thin out weed grasses with over seeding helping to introduce new seed thereby diluting the weed grass seed that enters the lawn. In extreme cases we can also kill off weed grasses before carrying out the renovation work. Our moss treatments are vital to help strengthen the grass over winter, reducing the encroachment of moss and ensuring that the lawn gets off to a great start in the spring with the first application of fertiliser. Thanks to this combination of treatments Mr L is now able to admire his green and lush lawn and he is doing a fantastic job mowing and keeping it leaf free and clear over winter.
