Mr G, Marlborough

Mr G in Marlborough has been with Lawntech for several years, with a break in his regular treatments for a few months while our sister company, Hewlett Turf and Landscapes, undertook some landscaping.

Lawntech ’s comments about this lawn

Thank you, Mr G, for being a long-term customer, we are glad that this small garden and lawn is looking great.  We are also pleased that our sister company, Hewlett Turf & Landscapes, was able to help with your garden alterations.

Hewlett Turf and Landscapes is the original company in our group still operated and run by Managing Director, Jim Hewlett, founded in 1987.  We carry out an extensive range of landscaping projects including elaborate gardens from design or simple garden alterations.  Lawns are deep in the DNA of the company having grown our own cultivated turf from seed since the early 1990’s, which is why we understand turf and why we started a lawn care company, so we can bring these skills and knowledge to the lawns of the south of England.

If Lawntech inspects a lawn that is beyond repair or has underlying issues which will prevent it from responding to our annual lawn care programme, we pass it over to Hewlett Turf & Landscapes who will inspect the garden and will create a proposal and quotation for sowing or turfing a new lawn.  Sometimes this might include adding or replacing topsoil, fitting lawn edgings and any other associated landscaping that is required at the time.  Our team has all the specialist equipment to ensure the job is done efficiently and to a very to a very high standard.  If we sow a lawn from seed, we can choose the specific variety that is right for that environment.  Once the seed is germinated, we come along to give it the first mow and deal with any young weeds that have appeared.  Once established we recommend caring for the new lawn with our 7 treatments per year on the Lawntech annual lawn care programme to keep the lawn in great condition for years to come.
